How We Met!

Ok, it's taken me forever to catch up, but Anjane' tagged anyone who wanted to do this and I finally decided to do it. Better late than never, right?

Jeremy and I met at an ASU institute dance. I was 17 at the time and actually had to sneak in to the dance. I went with my friend Summer (who ditched me after getting there), so i was standing there, alone, feeling like a complete fool and I saw a pretty cute guy (Jeremy) standing by himself too, so I walked up and introduced myself. We danced a few times, and I gave him my number before leaving, believing he wouldn't really call me. but he did about a week later. The funny thing is, that Jeremy wasn't going to go to the dance that night; he was at home with him mom and sister who were trying to convince him to go. He finally gave in and decided to go. Before leaving the house, his sister told him he couldn't come home unless he got a girls phone number. If you know how shy Jeremy is, you KNOW they didn't expect him to actually get one. When he came home with my number, his sister totally thought he'd made it up!

Our first date was a double with my friend Mindi and my brother Jordan, we went to 5 & diner for dinner and then to see Armageddon (sp?). Jeremy didn't do much talking and I didn't think I would go out with him again, but Mindi convinced me to double with her again, and she had to BEG me to call "that Jeremy guy". I finally gave in and told her she "owed me big". We ended up having a good time and I decided he wasn't so bad. :) Jeremy and I met on July 31st and We got engaged on Halloween that same year. I guess I'M the one who OWES Mindi now!
