(Braden wearing Mr. Potato Head's glasses)I haven't done an update on Braden's progress in a while and I keep my blog as a kind of journal so that we can go back and remember everything we went through someday (good and bad). So this is his "WORDS" update. Yes, I said WORDS Braden decided about a week ago that he would like to start repeating the words he hears us say! It's been SO CRAZY! Jeremy and I are beside ourselves with joy and amazement! Granted, we are probably the only people on earth that can understand what he's saying, but that's ok. Everyday he says new words he hasn't said before. He's only just repeating them at this point but it's the first step in developing language! We're so excited to see what's next! Here is a list of the words he has said:

That is funny about the doctors. It still amazes me that you have to wait so long for a child to get help. They keep saying Early Intervention is the key, but when you try to get it all you do is WAIT and WAIT. In the words of Winnie the Pooh "Oh Bother"! You'll have to keep us updated!
