Braden's favorite thing to look at is the pottery barn Halloween catalog! (That is until we got the toys r us Christmas catalog) :)
Braden helping "mom-mom" make pumpkin cookies!
Yum! Yum! Cookies!
Braden cleaning out his pumpkin so we can carve it. Braden has been SOOOO excited about Halloween this year! He was asking to carve pumpkins from the minute we pulled out the Halloween decorations (Oct 1st). Once his pumpkin was done, he wouldn't put it down and he carried it around with him ALL day until we packed it up to go to the trunk or treat!
This is my pumpkin on the left and our friends Sarah and Jon's on the right.
Sarah and Jon with their pumpkin. We are so glad to have some good friends here!
Braden in his astronaut costume.
This picture is out of focus and it's the only one we have of me in my costume because our retarded camera doesn't like cold weather and wouldn't stay on! So we really didn't get any great pictures of all of us. We don't even have one of Jeremy who painted his face to look like Jack Skelington from the nightmare before Christmas. Braden didn't like it very much. He kept bringing Jeremy towels and telling him to clean his face.
this is our trunk, decorated for the trunk or treat.
Braden is sitting and trying so hard to be patient and wait for the trick or treating to start. He did much better this year than last year. We actually made it through the whole night (2 hours)! He didn't like waiting in line for dinner but we made it through ok. We won a box of hot tamales for bringing the "spiciest" chili. We really love our ward here, everyone participates and is so supportive and nice. They try so hard to help us with Braden and include him in things even when he's being a stinker. I'm so excited about this holiday season! These are my favorite months of the year! Braden is finally excited about Christmas and I think he'll be so much fun this year! I'm going to have to make Thanksgiving dinner by myself (with Jeremy's help of course) this year and who knows how that'll turn out! Scary prospect!
Jeremy and I were married in February 1999 and have been very happily married since then! Our family expanded (by one) in March 2006. We had our son Braden, who is autistic and we love him so much! In June 2011 we added Jackson to the family. It's been an amazing adventure bringing these boys into the world and it's really just the beginning!
